Remember..

Bass Switching is always a good weapon in your Arsenal. I find too much Bass can cloud the mix. Leave the mids alone unless a vocal is a little high and tweak your treble if need be to give a smoother edge

That's a good tip. I've been messing with all three in my current transitions so now I'm ganna try to leave the mid alone and just mess with the base and treble. In the mixes i posted in '07 i didn't do any eq handling.
